Originally from San Francisco, Sanjay is a second-year law student at Tulane Law School. At Tulane, Sanjay is a member of the Moot Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, the Public Interest Law Foundation, and the Environmental & Energy Law Society. Sanjay attended the University of Virginia prior to law school, graduating in 2019 with degrees in Foreign Affairs and Spanish.
After graduating, Sanjay spent several months backpacking around New Zealand, before returning to the U.S. to work at an immigration law firm as a legal assistant in the Washington, D.C. area. Sanjay is passionate about advocating for immigrants’ rights, and spent the past summer as an intern with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free legal representation to unaccompanied children in need of immigration services.
