Nette Archangel joined the ACLU of Louisiana in February 2022 as Executive Coordinator.
Before joining the ACLU team, Nette served as a charismatic and driven educator for over a decade where she advocated for all students regardless of ability or background to ensure receipt of a fair and equitable education. This dynamic human served on and presented at various National, State, and local boards and conferences.
This experienced educator has an eye for detail, energy fueled by organization and multitasking, and expertise in planning and collaborative partnership. Her efficiency and ability to pool resources, gather information, and execute with positivity in mind is unmatched.
When away from the office, she is an active member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, creating adventures for Nola Gay Families, a local LGBTQ group, reading, and sipping on a bubble gum snowball.
Nette has a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Texas at Arlington.
