Alanah Odoms Hebert Talks Juvenile Justice and Mass Incarceration on WBOK

ACLU of Louisiana executive director Alanah Odoms Hebert talked to Oliver Thomas of WBOK about our work to advance civil rights and civil liberties in Louisiana, the human costs of mass incarceration, and the state's failure to reform the juvenile justice system.

"If you take a significant portion of your population and you throw them away, including children, you are significantly limiting what you can accomplish...This is a system that doesn't give much justice to anyone, except the people who can pay for it."
