NEW ORLEANS – The ACLU of Louisiana filed a friend-of-the-court brief at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals asking the Court to hold, once and for all, that LGBTQ+ people subject to persecution in their home countries are protected under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

LITTLE ROCK – Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry has signed on to a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court on Aug. 23 asking the court to rule against three individuals who had been fired for being LGBTQ.
